IMPORTANT NOTE: WE’RE STILL LEARNING! SOMETIMES WE BLOCK THE WRONG PPL BY ACCIDENT EG IF THEY’RE BEING SARCASTIC/CITING OTHERS. IT DOES NOT MEAN THOSE PEOPLE ARE TRAs OR THAT WE ACCUSE THEM OF BEING THAT. IF YOU FIND SOMEONE WHO SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LIST PELASE LET US KNOW & PLEASE READ THE WHOLE BLOGPOST. WE APOLOGISE TO ANYONE WHO IS MISTAKENLY BLOCKED.
What is CultBlockerPro?
CultBlockerPro is a twitter blocklist that blocks transactivists and transcultists, especially those who have been calling for violence against women or harassed Gender Critical (GC) people. It is similar to the TERFblocker used by TRAs, but with over 15.000 blocked accounts is more than ten times the size. It will protect your account from TRA harassment and doxxing by blocking users who are aggressively “calling out TERFs” and similar. You can subscribe to this blocklist by following the instructions below.
What is the advantage of subscribing to CultBlockerPro?
When you block someone on twitter, they cannot read your tweets or follow you. Blocking TRAs therefore means they cannot personally threaten or harass you, or get others to do so (chances are their friends are also on the list). They will still be able to report your account, but since they cannot see your tweets, it will be harder for them to tell which accounts are GC/Radfem. New accounts with innocuous names/bios that use the blocklist will be practically invisible to them.
What if I want to follow some TRA accounts to keep an eye on them?
You can still see and screenshot accounts you have blocked by going to the account page and clicking “show tweets”. The blocked account cannot do the same to you, unless they blocked you first. We recommend that you save TRA accounts you wish to follow in a twitter list before subscribing. For details please see How do I subscribe to CultBlockerPro?
How is CultBlockerPro put together?
The list was put together by searching twitter for common TRA words and phrases such as “TERF” and “SWERF”, “transmisogynist”, “cis privilege” etc. within the past 2 years. We started with outright threats of violence and worked our way down to the merely annoying. A lot of bullshit had to be read in the process.
How many accounts does CultBlockerPro block?
Currently over 15.000 and steadily growing. If you subscribe via the Blocktogether app, your blocklist will automatically update when new accounts are added.
What kinds of accounts does CultBlockerPro block?
In the following order of relevance, CultBlockerPro blocks accounts that:
- Have directly threatened or doxxed women or GC people
- Have called for or advocated violence against women or GC people (e.g. “kill all TERFs”, “TERFs get the bullet” etc)
- Have insulted women or GC people (e.g. “fuck you TERF”, “TERF scum” etc)
- Have spread lies about women or GC people (e.g. “TERFs are Nazis who want a trans genocide”)
- Have harassed journalists, celebrities or politicians by aggressively tweeting slogans or inquisition-like questions at them (e.g. “trans women are women”, “do you believe that trans women are women” etc. ad nauseam)
- Post TG related porn
- Have engaged in fake “debate” with GC people
- Are general transcultists
- Use transcultist language to talk about anime (don’t ask us what that’s about but there’s dozens of these)
- Random misogynists or racists that cropped up
CultBlockerPro does not block people simply for being trans.

1) First, we recommend you make a backup of all your twitter data by following the instructions here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/20170160
2) Next, make a list of any TRA accounts you wish to continue following. Instructions how to make a list here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/76460
After subscribing and importing CultBlockerPro, you can go through your list and unblock the accounts on it as you wish. You can also view the accounts on your list without unblocking them, but you will not be able to interact with them in that case.
3) Sign in at blocktogether.org
4) Use this unique link
https://blocktogether.org/show-blocks/h_vsu-dwQBEHqBWyVI1xbgdmWMTq8GiARYK-NvtB
and select “Block all and subscribe”. The list of blocked accounts will upload to your twitter account. Due to the size of the list this can take several hours. You will then receive regular updates when new accounts are added to the list.
What if I get harassed by a user who is not on the list?
We regularly update CultBlockerPro, but new TRA accounts pop up frequently and it is possible that some have not yet made the list. If you see an account that should go on the list, block them and DM us their handle at @CultBlockerPro on Twitter. There is no option to contact us through this website.
I’ve imported CultBlockerPro and now some of my contacts are blocked, but I know they’re not TRAs?
Because of the size of the list and the method it was compiled through, it is possible that some of the blocked accounts are actually spoof accounts, people who were being sarcastic/citing others, or people who were once TRAs but have since peaktransed. We sincerely apologise if we have accidentally listed anyone who is not a cultist.
